If a company has been dormant since incorporation or has ceased trading, the directors of the company may apply to deregister the company. The ACRA must, before striking off the company from the ACRA, be satisfied from the last set of audited accounts that the assets and liabilities of the company have a nil balance and that all income tax payable by the Company have been paid.
All the shareholders must give their consent for the name of the Company to be struck off the Register.
